Cloudflare PS Boot Camp Evaluation

A timed, multiple-choice evaluation used by Cloudflare to confirm baseline knowledge for partners attending the Cloudflare PS Boot Camp.

Before you begin

  • There are 20 questions on this evaluation.
  • Each question is individually timed.
  • The screen automatically advances to the next question when time expires, whether you have answered or not.
  • You cannot return to a previous question once you move on.
  • Some questions ask you to choose more than one answer. The prompt always tells you exactly how many to choose.
  • Your score is shared with the Cloudflare Customer Education team. They will use it to help determine your eligibility for course enrollment along with other information.
  • Only candidates whose email address has been added to the approved list by the Cloudflare team can begin.

Close everything before you begin

This evaluation must be the only thing open on your computer. Before you click Begin:

  • Close all other browser tabs and windows. Support consoles, Cloudflare dashboards, documentation, email in the browser: close them so this is the only tab left open. Having them open in the background is not enough.
  • Quit every other application. Messaging and mail apps such as Google Chat, Slack, Microsoft Teams, and Outlook, plus any calendar or system notifications.

Once the test starts, every time this tab loses focus it is recorded. Switching to another tab or window, clicking into another application, or a notification popping up and pulling focus all count as leaving the evaluation. These events are reviewed, and repeated switching can invalidate your attempt even when it was accidental. Closing everything first is the only reliable way to avoid being flagged.

The following are also automatically enforced:

  • The timer runs on our servers. Each question is timed on Cloudflare's side, so refreshing the page, losing connection, or changing your device clock does not give you extra time. If you refresh, you return to the question you were on with the clock still running.
  • Questions are delivered one at a time. You cannot see upcoming questions in advance, and you cannot go back to change an earlier answer.
  • You get one attempt. Once you begin, the attempt counts. There is no retake unless the Cloudflare team explicitly grants one.
  • Have everything ready now. Use a reliable connection on a desktop browser, and do not look answers up: enrollment may be denied if you do.
